This position will be a long-term expatriate opportunity. This position will include Flight Arrangement(s), Household Good Shipment, HOLA, COLA and other incentives for working this assignment overseas. Assignment location is NAS Sigonella, Italy.
This position will require a candidate to monitor and report squadron flying metrics, as well as maintain and report team-training records for NG and US Air Force requirements. The candidate will also provide aircraft post-mission data for analysis of mission effectiveness and reliability, monitor and regulate all post-mission data requests, and coordinate and provide continual support of data archives, catalogs, storage, and distribution of all retrieved data via hard drive, disc, or other electronic methods.
Duties:
Performing data entry and/or database management operations in support of programs or products. Controlling data definitions within established data standards for existing applications. Maintaining database specifications by initiating or responding to database change requests. Updating and maintaining database records and tables as required. Verifying data files for accuracy. Monitoring and auditing database operations.
What you’ll do:
Generate reports of aircraft and Field Service Representative (FSR) actions to program management
Maintain training tracker spreadsheet for onsite NG personnel
Upload fault log data rapidly to Air Force SIPRNet database for engineering review
Assist in personnel base, flightline, and hangar access
Assist in company badging process
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR Masters' degree with 3 years of relevant experience or PhD with 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience in Aviation and Aerospace technical data.
The candidate must possess a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance to start, obtain access for restricted area entry authorization, and obtain a common access card.
Obtain and maintain Air Force NIPR and SIPR network access.
Must already have or be able to obtain a Passport.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
RQ-4 Global Hawk Avionics systems knowledge.
Experience and knowledge of Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) and aircraft forms a plus.
