Your Team, Your Impact

ODSP PHY SW Team works on Marvell's Networking PAM4 DSPs for use in data center and AI connectivity. The SW team owns all the SW that runs on/with the DSPs, including embedded FW, customer SDK, lab test, and QA.

What You Can Expect

Owning product development

  • Technical lead on a project involving other SW developers, driving all aspects of SW development.
  • SW milestone planning, scheduling, conducting sprints, closing issues, and squashing bugs.
  • Architect and plan major SW features, work with SW block owners to fit each piece of the puzzle into the larger project.
  • Work with a cross-functional design team from analog design, digital design, system architects, validation, DV, SW QA, etc.
  • Design and test SW in a pre-silicon DV or emulation environment.
  • Drive chip bring-up and work with the cross-functional team to bring up all the major HW blocks in the design.

What We're Looking For

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with memory-constrained embedded C development.
  • Team and/or product lead with some project management or SDLC experience.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python preferred)
  • Familiar with gcc/clang, GNU make, Jenkins, git
  • Fast learner and must be a self-starter.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and related professional experience.
  • Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with related professional experience

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

146,850 - 220,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
