Northrop Grumman has an immediate employment opportunity available for a Principal Electrical Engineer located in Apopka, FL.

What You’ll Get to Do:
 

We are seeking a self-starting, motivated Principal Electrical Engineer to create new PCBA designs from concept to final certification by utilizing Allegro Design Suite from Cadence.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, component modeling, library control, signal integrity, RF modeling and PSpice simulations.
  • Design analog and digital circuitry, EMC/EMI testing
  • Serve as a technical liaison to PCB / PCBA vendors.
  • Enter and maintain Electrical Engineering data into our MRP system.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM Degree and 5 years of related experience or a Master’s Degree in STEM and 3 years of experience.
  • 4 years experience in Cadence Allego PCB and Schematic capture products.
  • Must have 2 years high speed and HDI PCB layout experience.
  • US Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Secret clearance is not required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Military and Space specifications.
  • Experience with PCB Fabrication techniques and material selection.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Active Secret clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
