CACI is responsible for providing comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). These services cover a range of support categories including management, engineering, maintenance, supply, data, training, continuous support, infrastructure, logistics, and personnel. The primary objective of these diverse services is to ensure warfighting readiness across the globe by increasing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of all currently deployed and future TIGS SoS.

The Principal Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, or electrical engineering applications. Duties may include analyzing equipment to establish operating data, conducting experimental tests and evaluating results as well as selecting components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop, modify and evaluate electronics parts, components and integrated circuitry for electronic equipment

  • Develop and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks

  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity

  • Support systems engineering by preparing presentations, conduct/support trade studies, and evaluate systems electrical and RF components

  • Interact with stakeholders on significant technical matters

  • Work with cross-functional team in a highly dynamic mission-focused environment

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Top Secret Security Clearance required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a STEM related discipline

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree

  • Experienced in power distribution design and signal conditioning in ground-based SATCOM systems

  • Experienced in electrical and RF interfaces between antennas, SDR(s), and high-powered SATCOM components

  • Experienced in grounding and bonding with EMI mitigation solutioning

  • Experienced in integration and testing of RF and electrical components (able to read schematics, drawings, ICD(s) etc...)

  • Experienced in the use of RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and SATCOM Modems

  • Familiarity with codes, regulation, and standards, such as NEC, IEC and IEEE

  • Ability to perform complex engineering calculations, including load flow, short circuit, harmonics, grounding, and electromagnetic transients

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, project teams, and stakeholders

Desired:

  • Professional Engineering license

  • Master’s degree in related field

  • Experience in quality control review process

  • Experience in leading a team

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
