Job Description:
Blackstone is seeking a motivated and experienced marketing professional to lead and support marketing efforts for Blackstone’s Private Wealth business (BXPW) in APAC, with primary coverage for Southeast Asia and Australia and broader involvement across the region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to BXPW’s mission of delivering innovative private market solutions and exceptional service to wealth managers and their clients.
As a senior member of the BXPW APAC Marketing team, the role will play a strategic and execution-focused role, driving the development, implementation, and measurement of integrated marketing programs. These programs will focus on educating advisors and their clients about private markets and Blackstone’s solutions tailored for private wealth. The role also includes delivering impactful client engagement initiatives to support the firm’s distribution partners in their capital-raising efforts.
The individual will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including sales, legal & compliance, public affairs, firm marketing, and investment teams, while serving as a trusted thought partner to the business. The role requires oversight of all initiatives to ensure timely, effective, and rigorous execution, supporting the Head of APAC Marketing in driving strategic priorities across the region.
The individual is expected to bring extensive regional knowledge and experience working with intermediary channels and alternative investment strategies. The individual will have experience with multiple marketing disciplines, including campaign development, content strategy and audience journey mapping in the region.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to educate advisors and their clients on private markets and Blackstone’s private wealth solutions, leveraging regional expertise to craft tailored campaigns, content strategies, and audience engagement plans.
Design and deliver impactful client engagement initiatives, including strategic events, distributor partnerships, and external sponsorships, to support capital-raising efforts for distribution partners.
Partner with sales leadership to align marketing strategies with business objectives and client acquisition goals across Southeast Asia, Australia, and broader APAC.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., legal & compliance, public affairs, firm marketing, investment teams) and the global BXPW marketing team to ensure alignment, consistency, and activation of compelling marketing and educational content for the region.
Oversee the BXPW regional website and drive digital marketing initiatives in partnership with the global digital marketing team, ensuring effective activation for each client segment.
Plan, manage, and execute marketing campaigns using the full marketing mix, tracking outcomes against defined success metrics and optimizing strategies to drive advisor engagement and client acquisition.
Review and implement processes and workflows to enhance team efficiency, while controlling and tracking marketing spend against the set budget.
Mentor and guide junior marketing associates, fostering professional growth and development within the team.
Qualifications:
15+ years of marketing experience
Extensive marketing experience in Asia focusing on intermediary audiences bringing deep knowledge of regional wealth and wholesale segments
Ability to work closely with and advise senior stakeholders
Ability to apply traditional as well as new and unique marketing approaches including digital marketing strategies
Demonstrated interest in investments and solid knowledge across alternatives investment products, financial services industry, and capital markets.
Knowledge of the regional regulatory and legislative landscape and understanding of financial promotions rules marketing rules across Asia.
Must have strong written and spoken communication skills; fluency in spoken and written Chinese language is advantageous
Ability to perform at a high-level within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture with a focus on excellence
Ability to work in global organisation managing multiple stakeholders and initiatives simultaneously against tight timelines
