Summary of Role:

We are looking for a Principal Post Fab Planner to join the Post Fab Planning Team in Global Supply Chain (GSC). This individual must be a US citizen and will be stationed in GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta and tasks to enable GlobalFoundries manufacturing execution within our Post Fab Team and OSAT partners.

Essential Responsibilities:

You will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Responsible for activities related to controlling, scheduling, and managing the flow of production from wafer start to distribution of finished product.
  • Chair Daily / Weekly meeting to review the operational performance
  • Drive the Post Fab Operation and Engineering Team to meet Customer Delivery.
  • Analyzing any potential shipment gap and providing alternative solutions.
  • Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
  • Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems that impact customers and the direction of the business.
  • Acts independently in solving problems with minimum guidance.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education - Degree/master’s in engineering is preferred. Degree in other discipline with 6-8 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience - At least 3 years’ experience in Planning & Production Control. Those with Post Fab experience will be an added advantage.
  • Direct expertise in Semiconductor backend process, packing, assembly & test and OSAT experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications and project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of organization.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.

Expected Salary Range

$66,800.00 - $120,700.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
