JOB TITLE: Presentations Associate, Business Development, CIB

SALARY: From £51,000+ (dependent on experience)

LOCATION: London

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What You’ll Be Doing

Join our Commercialisation team and help shape high‑impact client pitches that support Corporate & Institutional Banking’s most strategic growth opportunities.

As a Presentations Associate, you’ll work at the heart of Business Development - partnering with Coverage, Sales and Product teams to plan, craft and deliver compelling presentations for major corporate and institutional clients. You’ll use client‑approved content, secure expert sign‑off where needed, and develop high‑quality materials that clearly articulate our ideas, insights and solutions.

Our Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) business supports large corporate and institutional clients across the UK, US and Europe, building long‑term relationships through market‑leading capabilities in transaction banking, debt financing and risk management. We’re investing heavily in our core product infrastructure, digital tools and client servicing to support our disciplined growth ambitions and purpose‑aligned objectives.

Team Overview:

You’ll sit in the Commercialisation Team within Business Development, part of the wider Balance Sheet Management (BSM) function in the Client Solutions Group (CSG).

BSM brings together four specialist teams that provide a holistic view of CIB’s performance and future growth:

  • Financial Resource Management (FRM)

  • Client Data & Analytics

  • Funding & Liquidity

  • Business Development

The Business Development team focuses on improving client outcomes and enabling sustainable growth by enhancing processes, adopting new technologies and supporting more efficient, data‑driven ways of working. The newly created Commercialisation team within Business Development is focused on supporting the mobilisation of CIB’s growth plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop best‑in‑class client collateral that support CIB growth priorities and clearly showcase our propositions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Coverage, Sales, Marketing and Group functions to source and structure pitch content.

  • Quality‑assure materials—owning consistency, accuracy, brand alignment and timely delivery.

  • Use client‑approved content and secure subject‑matter expert approval for any non‑standard material.

  • Research clients, market trends and relevant insights, presenting information in a clear and engaging way.

  • Manage multiple stakeholders at different levels to coordinate content, gather inputs and meet timelines.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline creation, including using automation, templates and AI tools.

  • Gather and apply feedback from colleagues and clients to continuously improve pitch materials.

  • Track and report project activity, using MI to monitor performance and inform ongoing improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience producing client presentations or pitch materials (financial services, consulting, or corporate environments desirable).

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills (3+ years) with capability in layout design, visualising complex ideas and applying brand guidelines.

  • Strong research, writing and visual storytelling ability, able to translate technical or complex concepts into clear messaging.

  • Document production expertise, including version control, structured content creation and quality assurance.

  • High accuracy and attention to detail, including proofreading, formatting and consistency checking.

  • Experience managing multiple projects, timelines and stakeholder input simultaneously.

  • Ability to identify risks or content issues and propose alternative solutions where required.

  • Experience using digital content tools, with exposure to automation or AI‑supported presentation tools

Desirable Skills

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – basic or intermediate.

  • Premiere Pro and After Effects

  • Experience using content management systems, slide libraries, or similar tools.

  • Exposure to MI/reporting tools for workflow tracking or performance insights.

We know that great talent comes from many backgrounds. Whilst this job advert may reference specific years of experience, we recognise that skills are developed in many ways, so if you have relevant, transferable experience, we encourage you to apply.
