Your day at NTT DATA
As an Associate Cloud Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the exciting world of cloud computing. You will assist in the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions that meet the business and technical needs of our clients. Your journey will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translating these into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
You will provide valuable support to our sales teams with your growing knowledge of cloud technologies and architectures, ensuring the effective design, deployment, and operation of cloud systems. Working under supervision, you will design and architect less complex cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Your role will also include assessing existing systems and developing migration strategies to transition on-premises applications and infrastructure to the cloud. You will design integration solutions to enable seamless DATA flow between cloud and on-premises environments, define and implement security best practices, and support the development and maintenance of cloud governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Additionally, you will participate in pre-sales activities, provide technical support, evaluate client requirements, and develop technical design documents. You will be involved in managing client proof-of-concept initiatives, supporting development teams to ensure adherence to cloud architecture standards and best practices, and collaborating with internal stakeholders on various aspects of solution design and implementation.
In your role, you will have opportunities to influence and guide members of the sales team, develop and manage proof-of-concept initiatives, and ensure a seamless transition of proposed solutions to the delivery team. You will be a trusted technical advisor to clients, ensuring that the solutions you help design align with their objectives and needs.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:- Must have 3-10 years of presales experience
- Knowledge of AI, cloud architecture patterns, including microservices, serverless computing, containers, and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies, such as virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and load balancing.
- Understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with IaC tools and frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure resource Manager, or Google Cloud deployment Manager.
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, including their services around compute, storage, DATAbases, networking, and security.
- Basic understanding of vendor products and technology positioning.
- Good client engagement skills coupled with technical consulting aptitude.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with team members.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
