What you'll do in our role
Own the technical sales cycle for AWS opportunities across our ANZ reseller base — from architecture design through to deal closure
Champion AWS AI & generative AI (Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q) — turning emerging tech into practical partner offerings
Lead AWS programs including MAP, MAP Lite, OLA, and Well-Architected Reviews
Mentor and uplift our partners and internal Solution Architects and Cloud Engineers — you'll be a coach, not just an individual contributor
Build the Tech Data AWS brand outwardly — publish on LinkedIn, write blogs, speak at AWS events, and engage the partner community as a thought leader
Partner closely with AWS PDMs and PSAs to accelerate joint pipeline
What you'll bring to the role
5+ years in pre-sales / solution architecture, with deep AWS experience
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (required); Professional + specialty certs (Security, Networking, ML, Data Analytics) preferred
Hands-on experience with AI and generative AI on AWS — Bedrock, SageMaker, foundation models, RAG, responsible AI
A proven track record mentoring and developing junior technical talent — both partner and internal
An active LinkedIn presence and a love of sharing your thinking publicly — AWS Community Builder or Hero status is a big plus
Strong AWS Well-Architected Framework knowledge and the ability to lead reviews
Excellent communication skills — equally comfortable with engineers, sales teams, and C-level stakeholders
