About the Role
LexisNexis Canada is seeking a Practice Area Consultant (PAC) to support our Corporate & Public Markets segment.
This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys engaging with clients, presenting ideas, and working at the intersection of legal practice and technology. You will help elevate customer conversations by demonstrating how LexisNexis solutions support corporate legal teams, government, and regulated organizations.
The PAC partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer engagement, and position LexisNexis as a trusted advisor in the corporate legal market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Partnership & Revenue Support
Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to support new business and expansion opportunities within the Corporate & Public Markets segment
Deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate value, competitive differentiation, and relevant use cases
Participate in customer meetings (virtual and in person) to support deal progression and help close opportunities
Identify and surface growth opportunities within assigned accounts and markets
Market & Practice Area Expertise
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of relevant corporate practice areas (e.g., governance, securities, commercial transactions, regulatory, public sector work)
Translate practitioner experience into practical use cases that resonate with corporate and government legal professionals
Serve as a subject matter resource for Sales, Marketing, and Segment leadership
Thought Leadership & Content Development
Create and deliver customer-facing content including webinars, CLE sessions, whitepapers, and industry presentations
Support marketing initiatives that position LexisNexis as a trusted partner to corporate and public sector legal teams
Represent LexisNexis at key industry events and conferences
Sales Enablement
Partner with Sales Enablement to build and deliver internal training that strengthens sellers’ understanding of legal workflows and product positioning
Share competitive insights and market trends with internal stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience
LL.B. or J.D. required
2–5 years of legal practice experience
Corporate law experience strongly preferred (law firm or in-house)
Member of a Law Society in good standing preferred
Skills & Capabilities
Strong presentation skills and comfort speaking in group settings
Interest in legal technology and how lawyers use legal workflow tools in practice
Commercial mindset and curiosity about how legal departments evaluate value and efficiency
Hybrid work model (minimum 1 day per week in office).

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Canada-Gordon Baker Rd-Toronto $68,100-$113,600(CAD). This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
