The PQA Manager ensures the quality of vehicle parts throughout the production process and during new project launches. This role manages Parts Quality Assurance (PQA) and Parts Quality Engineering (PQE) activities to maintain compliance with quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and achieve Quality, Cost, and Time (QCT) targets. The position also oversees cross-functional coordination, risk management, and innovation initiatives to guarantee consistent quality performance in mass production and market phases.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee PQA/PQE functions and maintain quality standards either inhouse or at suppliers
Audit and improve suppliers’ & inhouse QMS, monitor performance via scorecards, and manage risk for new projects.
Lead quality activities from sourcing to SOP, ensuring adherence to NPQP and approving part submissions.
Approve design and process changes, implement innovative solutions, and deploy quality tools to resolve issues.
Train suppliers and internal teams on quality tools and certify NPQP representatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track quality issues and participate in key meetings to drive improvements.
Address market quality concerns promptly using global countermeasure systems and ensure preventive actions.
Who We’re Looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
8–10 years of experience, minimum 5 years in automotive quality management.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, NPQP, and supplier quality systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional team management skills.
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, PPAP).
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
