The Role
Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Team Leader / Senior Civil Engineer to support the management, design oversight, and supervision of water and irrigation infrastructure projects. The role will lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee project delivery, ensuring that engineering works are executed in accordance with international standards, contractual requirements, and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams during project implementation.
Oversee the design review and supervision of civil and water infrastructure works.
Ensure project delivery in compliance with technical standards, contractual obligations, and project timelines.
Provide leadership in construction management, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.
Monitor project progress, quality assurance, and risk management during project execution.
Support coordination with clients, contractors, and international funding institutions.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of general professional experience.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in the supervision or management of similar infrastructure projects.
Experience as Team Leader or Project Manager on at least two donor/IFI-funded projects (e.g., EIB, EU, World Bank, KfW, EBRD, AFD, ADB, or similar).
