This internship position is a full‑time role for a fixed duration of six months. While the role requires full‑time commitment, the team offers reasonable schedule flexibility to support individual needs, in coordination with the people manager. The program is intended to provide a focused, immersive industry experience aligned with Intel’s professional work environment and expectations.

We're seeking a motivated Power and Thermal Management Student Intern to join our Client Platform development team for an immersive 6-month, full-time internship experience. This role offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technology development while providing the flexibility to support your academic and personal needs. You'll contribute to real projects that directly impact Intel's business objectives while building the technical and professional skills essential for a successful career in technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to execute Client Platform development projects aligned with Intel's strategic objectives

  • Develop automation scripts and tools while performing comprehensive data analysis and validation tasks

  • Contribute to Power Management models and design repositories, supporting data collection and documentation efforts

  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, technical reviews, and cross-functional discussions to enhance problem-solving capabilities

  • Learn and apply advanced technical methodologies in platform development and thermal management systems

  • Document project results, lessons learned, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making processes

  • Research emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation and improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English.

  • Enrollment or graduate in a bachelor's or master's degree program in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 3+ months of knowledge or experience in:

    • Lab experience

    • Coding

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ months of knowledge or experience in:

    • Product development practices and methodologies.

    • Innovation and interest in exploring cutting-edge technologies.

    • Hardware with basic software knowledge.

    • Coding skills (automation-focused).

    • Understand hardware requirements

    • GitHub and Linux.
