Doctoral Degree (PhD) in biological field or biomedical sciences, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genomics, or a related field.

Responsibilities:
Conducts research activities under the direction of the Principal Investigator and research collaborators in support of funded and proposed grant projects.
Assists with developing and modifying research protocols, collecting background data, troubleshooting experimental approaches, and supporting ongoing research initiatives.
Maintains accurate and detailed research records, including documentation of experiments and results.
Ensures compliance with laboratory safety standards and maintains equipment records, maintenance schedules, and related documentation.
Assists with preparing publications, presentations, grant proposals, and research amendments in accordance with institutional policies and federal regulations. May participate in research reviews, audits, and site visits conducted by sponsors or regulatory agencies.
Attends seminars, trainings, and meetings as assigned.
Performs additional duties as needed to support research operations and departmental goals.
