The Portfolio Accounting, Performance, and Valuation team provides global oversight of investment performance and valuation across Aegon Asset Management. The team is responsible for analysing performance and attribution results, ensuring accurate and market-aligned security valuations, and applying industry‑standard methodologies.
As our Portfolio Accounting and Performance Analyst you will primarily support our Netherlands business as well as the broader global asset management organisation by providing oversight to Citi outsourced performance measurement services. This role is also responsible for supporting our various stakeholders across Aegon Asset Management, including clients and prospects inquiries and ad hoc performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing support and review of core portfolio and accounting tasks, reconciliations, standardised report generation and review.
Support the accounting and performance process through the timely, thorough review of portfolio activities and performance outputs.
Researching performance results and contribute to projects of varying complexity.
Engaging in stakeholder management, including, support of RFPs, ad hoc client inquires, and product development.
Providing analytic support to the investment management teams by providing timely and insightful fundamental and quantitative feedback.

Professional Qualification or studying towards would be advantageous (i.e. CFA, CAIA, or CIPM)
