The Role:
The Policy Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient execution of policy administration activities across the policy lifecycle. This role is responsible for executing broker and client servicing requests, including midterm policy changes, cancellations, renewals, and ongoing policy maintenance needs.
As Corix continues to scale, this role will also contribute to operational improvements by supporting workflow enhancements, documentation, and cross-functional initiatives that increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across Policy Operations.
The Team:
Corix Operations is responsible for the execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement of core operational processes that support the policy lifecycle. The team partners closely with Underwriting, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless servicing experience for brokers and clients while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
This role sits within Corix Operations and reports directly to the Policy Operations Manager, serving as a hands-on executor and key support partner for both day-to-day servicing and future-state process improvements.
Job Summary:
The Policy Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality policy servicing support by executing midterm policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, binding activities, and renewals. This role combines operational execution with a strong customer-service mindset, ensuring brokers and clients receive timely, accurate, and consistent support while helping the organization scale through process improvement and operational rigor.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Policy Servicing Execution
Execute midterm policy changes and ongoing maintenance activities, including endorsements, cancellations, renewals, binding support, and issuance.
2. Broker, Client, and Stakeholder Support
Deliver timely, high-quality communication and resolution of servicing requests while building trusted relationships.
3. Operational Improvement and Documentation
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance servicing efficiency, and document processes to support scalable team execution.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal teams to ensure servicing aligns with business needs, compliance standards, and client outcomes.
Critical Technical Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented operational environment
1+ year of experience in an insurance-related servicing, policy administration, or operations role
Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of servicing requests
Excellent communication, follow-through, and stakeholder management skills
Comfort working in ambiguity while maintaining composure in complex or regulated environments
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and client experience

Salary: $50-$70k
The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
**Please note that this position is hybrid and requires two (2) days in our office weekly**
