Job Summary: THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a POLICE OFFICER, Position Description Number D2156000 and is part of the 106TH RQW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. THIS IS FOR THREE POSITIONS AND IS A TEMPORARY APPOINTMENT NTE ONE YEAR.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Military Grades: ENLISTED SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have one year experience equivalent to the next lower grade that provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property. Experience may have been gained in work on a police force; through service as a military police officer; in work providing visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or other natural resource or recreational environments; in performing criminal investigative duties; or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills.
