THE WORK:

The PMO Director is responsible for the direction, governance, and management of all customer-facing projects worldwide. You will build and scale service operations and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer success. This role ensures consistent, high-quality service delivery that drives rapid customer value recognition and cultivates highly reference-able customer experiences. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Strategic Planning & Governance: Develop and implement a global project management strategy and governance framework that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Methodology & Standards: Establish, standardize, and enforce best-in-class project management methodologies and quality standards across all projects and regions.
  • Portfolio & Resource Management: Oversee the entire global project portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload balancing.
  • Delivery & Quality Assurance: Drive accountability for project delivery excellence, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, leading to high customer satisfaction and referencability.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Anticipate potential project risks and issues, and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of project and program managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, business units, strategic customers, and external partners, acting as an executive sponsor for critical accounts and ensuring transparent communication.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 5 years in a senior PMO leadership position within SaaS, enterprise software, or consulting.
  • Proven track record of successfully building, growing, and scaling services globally and managing large-scale service delivery projects and teams.
  • Experience managing both internal delivery teams and partner-led projects, including working with Systems Integrators (SIs) and global consulting firms.
  • Deep understanding of: corporate treasury and finance functions, cloud-based SaaS implementation, and technical integration services
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at the executive level.
  • Deep expertise in various project management methodologies and project management software/tools.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments and adapt to changing priorities.
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 
CA Annual Base Salary Range
$196,000$245,000 USD
