The Team:
S&P Global Mobility is seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to join our Automotive Insights - EMEA Operations and Production team. You will be instrumental in developing business requirements in PL/SQL logic on standardized data, ensuring the data is ready for customer delivery. This involves enhancing data by integrating multiple datasets, applying rule-based processing, and supporting timely deliveries. Our processes currently reside in Oracle and MS SQL Server, with ongoing migration of business logic to AWS Redshift. You will support existing functions and actively contribute to migration and optimization activities.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Develop and enhance business logic in PL/SQL and SQL on standardized automotive data, including vehicle new registrations, used registrations, vehicle-in-operation (VIO), pricing, and more.
Combine and process data from various sources to enrich datasets for customer delivery.
Apply rule-based processing to ensure high-quality, consistent, and accurate data outputs.
Support and maintain existing processes in Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Participate in the migration and optimization of business logic to AWS Redshift, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
Collaborate closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams across multiple locations to gather requirements, validate logic, and deliver solutions.
Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Communicate effectively with global stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
Standard Expectations
Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, with additional experience in MS SQL Server and AWS Redshift.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and system reliability.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all development activities.
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Show adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes as migration progresses.
Maintain clear and professional communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
5–8 years of relevant experience in PL/SQL development.
Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL; experience with MS SQL Server and AWS Redshift is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment.
Strong analytical skills and ability to proactively resolve data research issues.
Excellent communication skills, especially in a multi-location stakeholder environment.
Experience working in Agile teams.
