Dematic is looking for a talented PLC Engineer to be hired with a permanent contract for Dematic Customer Service for its distribution Center in San Vittore di Cesena.

Your challenge:
The PLC Engineer is going to:
- Design and develop the software packages created "ad hoc" according to specific client’s needs (starting from May 2027)
- Provide support for technical issues about automated warehouse
- Liaise with electrical, software and mechanical colleagues
- Provide on site and Remote Assistance service to the final customer
- Collaborate with other colleagues
- Interface with the customer representative
Your challenge in the medium term:
- Become the focal point for the Service Contract
Who are we looking for?
A candidate with the following features:
- Have a real passion and enthusiasm for innovation and software development
- At least 1 year of experience in the industrial automation field
- Good experience in the development/programming PLC and in the use of the main automation SW Siemens (S7 and TIA Portal) or other PLCs
- Good understanding of fieldbus systems and I/O equipment, e.g. Profibus and Profinet
- Bachelor's / Three Years Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma
- Good knowledge of Italian and English written and spoken
