Join a dynamic and challenging Server Platform Architecture team within the Intel Data Center Group (DCG) to develop world class systems, platforms, and component building blocks addressing AI and compute usages.

The Server Platform Architecture (SPA) team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated candidate to fulfill the role of RAS Platform Architect for DCG Xeon portfolio. Your multi segment responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide innovative solutions.

  • Lead pathfinding initiatives and complete technical readiness for cutting edge RAS technologies

  • Comprehend production use models as well as requirements for HVM all in the effort of higher quality

  • Analyze competitive solutions and define strategies to enhance Intel's offerings.

  • Work with talented architects and designers across Intel to drive the RAS SoC/HW/SW/FW requirements and architectural definition, through documentation and eventual implementation.

  • Support design engineering teams in product development phase and represent platform architecture issues exposed in design, validation, and test.

  • Participate in industry-standard forums and represent Intel in discussions shaping future technologies.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.  This position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of professional experience.

  • -OR- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of professional experience.

  • -OR- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience.

  • Experience in architecture definition, technical requirement definition, and design.

  • Experience with Intel server platform architecture and datacenter architecture.

  • Experience in UEFI Firmware architecture, microarchitecture fundamentals, and RAS fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of server system architectures including manageability, RAS and security

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including competitive analysis and customer problem solving.

  • Ability to align technical solutions with strategic objectives and communicate architectural intent effectively.

  • Participation in industry-standard forums and familiarity with emerging trends in system software development.

  • Demonstrated leadership in group problem solving and collaboration across diverse technical teams.

  • Passion for driving innovation and shaping future technologies.

  • Assume responsibility and be proactive taking initiative to address issues, set direction and meet commitments

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $173,660.00-330,340.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
