What is the opportunity?  

Lead the strategic operational transformation of RBC Wealth Management’s YEXT and WordPress platforms to support the consolidation of global platforms to best support our business strategies. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll drive enterprise-scale platform innovation, align critical intranet ecosystems with RBC's brand standards, and empower a high-performing team to support Wealth Management's digital ambitions. You'll shape strategic roadmaps, secure funding for expansion projects, and deliver measurable impact—working to optimize global costs, while enabling advisor productivity and client acquisition strategies. What will you do?  

  • Define and execute strategic platform capability roadmaps and global YEXT/WordPress consolidation sequencing

  • Lead stakeholder engagement with Global Marketing Leads, WMC Communications, and Digital Accelerators to secure buy-in and project funding

  • Manage and develop a team, fostering high performance and career growth

  • Drive innovation initiatives including new capabilities (e.g., AI personalization tools) and build business cases for expansion projects

  • Oversee platform operations, monitor SLAs, and ensure brand compliance across global intranet instances

  • Manage vendor partnerships and contracts; approve operational spend with Director oversight on larger initiatives

  • Resolve platform incidents and operational challenges; escalate complex risk and compliance issues appropriately

  • Mentor team members on YEXT and WordPress platforms, fostering technical excellence and certification readiness

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:  

  • 7+ years of platform or digital leadership experience managing enterprise-scale systems

  • 5+ years working with YEXT and/or WordPress platforms in operational or leadership capacity

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships at multiple organizational levels

  • Experience with strategic planning, roadmapping, and delivery of large-scale platform projects

  • Strong understanding of content management, platform operations, and digital ecosystem alignment

  • Budget management and vendor negotiation experience at the operational or program level

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience leading digital transformation or large-scale platform migrations

  • Familiarity with digital change management practices and stakeholder adoption strategies

  • Agile leadership experience or exposure to Agile methodologies

  • Background in intranet, marketing technology, or enterprise communications platforms
