Position Overview

POSITION OBJECTIVE:  Responsible for sewing secondary backing together, as well as, operating the selvage bailer and adhesive pan.

Essential Duties:

• Sew rolls of backing together for continuous production

• Operate the bailer (selvage)

• Operate the secondary applicator

• Maintain viscosities for the applicator

• Give breaks for sew-on

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and hear

• Occasionally required to reach, handle, walk, and climb

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs ten (10) times per shift

• Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations
