Bring your energy to Aggreko as Plant Facilities & Administration Manager. This pivotal role involves establishing and overseeing the entire Facilities and Administrative framework from the ground up. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, efficient resource management, and a supportive environment for over 700 employees and visitors within the plant. This unique opportunity combines initial plant setup responsibilities with ongoing management of all administrative facets for the facility.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead New Plant Administrative Setup: Drive the administrative and infrastructure setup for the new facility, including procurement, equipment, and establishing comprehensive policies and service standards.

  • Manage Workforce Administration: Oversee all general staff administrative needs, including attendance, leave management for contract employees, record keeping, and welfare support for operators and non-full-time employees (NFTEs).

  • Coordinate Global Visitor Travel & Logistics: Manage end-to-end travel arrangements for international visitors, encompassing visa facilitation, bookings, ground transport, and local hospitality.

  • Oversee Facility Resources & Maintenance: Ensure efficient and disciplined usage of indirect materials, manage the maintenance and cleanliness of common areas, meeting rooms, and administrative offices.

  • Administer On-site Services & Security: Supervise cafeteria/canteen services, ensuring hygiene and vendor management, and manage facility security, access control, and visitor protocols.

  • Establish Administrative Policies & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce administrative policies and procedures, coordinating with HR to ensure alignment with company policies and local labor law compliance.

You are:

  • Extensive Facilities & Administrative Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities and administrative management, with significant exposure to large-scale manufacturing or industrial environments, ideally including new facility setup.

  • Operational Management Acumen: Proven ability to manage administrative functions for a large workforce (500+ employees), alongside strong expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget control.

  • Organizational & Process Leadership: Exceptional organizational skills, proficiency in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures, and a keen eye for process optimization.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Compliance & Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and administrative compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing, coupled with proficiency in relevant administrative software and tools.
