Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Control Engineer - Saudi National to join our team! In this role, you will support cost control, planning, scheduling, and earned value functions on projects, either independently on smaller assignments or in support of senior project controls professionals on larger, more complex projects.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of project cost control systems to provide accurate and timely financial information to project and company management.

  • Assist in the development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams.

  • Perform data analysis using project management and cost control systems and prepare cost status reports and presentations utilizing charts, graphs, and dashboards.

  • Implement and maintain project planning and scheduling activities in accordance with established project baselines.

  • Develop and maintain logic networks and bar chart schedules for less complex project scopes.

  • Analyze, monitor, and forecast project progress against approved baseline schedules.

  • Assess the impact of design changes, construction changes, and schedule delays, and support mitigation planning.

  • Prepare and present schedule and cost status reports to project leadership, senior management, and clients.

  • Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) systems on assigned projects.

  • Analyze cost and schedule performance metrics including CPI and SPI.

  • Prepare project forecasts, performance trends, and periodic status updates.

  • Provide assessments and corrective action recommendations to management when variances are identified.

  • Support and provide guidance to team members in resolving project control-related issues as required.

  • Perform other project controls responsibilities as needed to support project objectives.
     

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, planning, scheduling, or related functions.

  • Basic engineering knowledge in civil, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline.

  • Working knowledge of project controls systems and scheduling tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PC-based project controls software.

  • Ability to analyze project data and communicate findings clearly through reports and presentations.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
     

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Experience supporting medium to large-scale engineering or construction projects.

  • Exposure to Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and performance measurement techniques.

  • Familiarity with cost forecasting, trend analysis, and change impact assessments.

  • Ability to provide guidance or technical support to junior team members.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a project environment.
