As a Supply Chain Planning and Control Manager, you’ll lead our Planning & Control activities across the MRO Engine and Module business on behalf of MA&T. This includes functional leadership of the team, supply chain management and effective planning governance to ensure delivery performance expectations are met

What you will be doing:

  • Lead load/capacity planning and customer demand process across the MRO Defence Engine and Module portfolio, ensuring that delivery plans are credible and supported by realistic assembly and supply-chain input commitments.
  • Undertake scenario planning, to evaluate the impact of potential future load variation. Ensure changes that impact the supplier/customer are commitment accepted.
  • Support the business planning through meticulous budget setting and real time expenditure tracking.
  • Own and drive short-, medium- and long-term delivery commitments, identifying and providing solutions to any potential capacity or critical supply issues.
  • Lead and mentor a team of planning professionals driving operational excellence through effective coaching and development.

   

Position qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or 5 years business experience
  • Relevant leadership experience within planning, operations, or supply chain
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately plan and manage a business 

Preferred requirements:

  • Robust knowledge of Planning & Control, SAP and/or MRP systems
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation including internal and external stakeholders 
  • Proven track record of effectively leading and developing teams
