The Senior Manager, Corporate S&OP Lead is a key role to ensure effective governance and alignment across Genmab’s global demand, supply, and financial planning processes. As the organization grows in complexity across regions and products, centralized ownership of the S&OP process is critical to enable structured decision-making and cross-functional coordination.
This role provides end-to-end leadership of the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring visibility of demand signals, supply constraints (including CMO capacity and regulatory factors), and associated risks. It supports scenario planning and drives alignment between operational plans and financial forecasts in collaboration with FP&A.
Additionally, the role establishes standardized KPIs, ensures data consistency across systems (e.g., SAP and Anaplan), and drives continuous improvement of the S&OP framework. Overall, the position is essential to mitigate risk, maintain supply continuity, and support scalable, efficient operations aligned with Genmab’s growth strategy.
The S&OP Lead owns and facilitates the global monthly S&OP process, including Demand Review, Supply Review, S&OP, and Executive S&OP meetings, ensuring structured governance and decision-making
The role ensures consolidation of demand inputs from Global Commercial functions across regions (US, EU, Japan) and ensures alignment with forecast submissions, market assumptions, and product lifecycle plans
The role ensures visibility and escalation of supply constraints, including CMO capacity, lead times, and regulatory dependencies, and drives scenario planning to support decision-making
The S&OP Lead drives alignment of inventory strategies across global distribution networks and 3PL partners, ensuring consistency with service levels, shelf-life constraints, and market requirements
The position ensures alignment between S&OP outputs and financial plans in collaboration with FP&A, supporting rolling forecasts, budget cycles, and Long Range Planning (LRP)
The role establishes and maintains S&OP KPIs and reporting, ensuring data consistency and a single source of truth across SAP and planning system (Anaplan)
The role is responsible for assessing and continuously improving Genmab’s S&OP framework, including critically evaluating the current process, identifying gaps and inefficiencies, and driving the design and implementation of an optimized, scalable S&OP/IBP model aligned with Genmab’s evolving operating model and growth ambitions
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, or related functions
Proven experience with S&OP / IBP processes in a global organization
Experience within Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry required
Experience working with CMOs and outsourced manufacturing models
Experience with SAP ERP and planning tools preferred
Experience supporting financial planning processes (FP&A, budgeting, LRP)
