Assists with researching and writing all or sections of environmental documents, including Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Statements.
Works in GIS to prepare mapping, graphics, and determine impacts.
Prepares Red Flag Investigations, early coordination letters, and other supporting documents
Coordinating with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders with respect to potential environmental impacts of proposed projects.
Assists with preparing permit applications, such as Section 404/401, IDNR Construction in a Floodway, and IDEM Construction Stormwater General Permits.
Assists senior scientists with conducting waters investigations, including wetland delineations, and preparing Waters of the U.S./State Reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What We Prefer:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology or related field
Experience with ArcGIS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe.
Experience with INDOT
