What You Will Do:
Develop Inline Inspection programs (ILI), including selection of appropriate ILI tool technologies, determination of reinspection intervals, and forecasting of integrity digs.
Conduct integrity assessments such as fit for service evaluations, crack fatigue analysis, corrosion growth rate calculations, and threat interaction assessments.
Evaluate ILI tool performance and investigate data discrepancies by comparing Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) results from integrity digs against ILI data.
Support operational change assessments and incident investigations through engineering analysis and technical recommendations.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations to support pipeline integrity decision making.
Collaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on industry papers, technical studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Who You Are:
Completion of a degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.
A minimum of four years of dynamically responsible experience in engineering.
Ability to communicate effectively with excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
Understanding of pipeline strength evaluation methods is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Occasional travel (<5%) to field excavations, industry committees/conferences, and other office locations. Valid passport is required.
