This Photo Production Intern will experience and touch every stage of the photo shoot production process from prep through shoot days. Photo Shoots during the summer could consist of any or all of the following: in-house laydown, in-house on-figure, off-site on-figure, and video projects. Every week at the studio looks differently than the week before. We are seeking a strong candidate who works well in a fast-paced and always changing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • The intern will work collaboratively with all members of the larger Creative team, while specializing in pre-production, casting and photography
  • The intern will assist the Photo Production team by helping to create and update the weekly shoot schedule and calendar, building and supporting crew and talent resource allocation and availability documents
  • The intern will assist in the process of casting talent for our brand by creating model presentation boards, organizing the casting process, and understanding our brand identity
  • The intern will assist the Photography team by learning about lighting and camera workflow and best practices
  • The intern will prepare, distribute and track talent agreements and contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
  • The intern will assist with production logistics, including restaurant list development, crew meal coordination, and craft services procurement

COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Detail oriented; strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Possess an outgoing personality

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited institution with an interest in Photography and/or Photo Shoot Production
  • Should have excellent and effectual communication skills
  • Should possess strong attention to detail
  • Should be comfortable with forward thinking and should possess problem-solving skills
  • Should be very familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Internship Program Overview:
This is a paid, in-person internship based in our Raleigh or Durham offices, running from May 18 through August 7, 2026. Interns are paid $18.25 per hour and will gain hands-on experience by being fully integrated into their respective teams. Throughout the internship, participants will complete a capstone project, collaborate cross-functionally, connect with company leaders and executives, and participate in intern lunch-and-learns and other professional development opportunities.
