The Pharma Industry Manager needs to integrate products from various BUs (business unit) from an industry perspective to formulate industry development plans, coordinate and assist each BU in their business development within the pharmaceutical industry. At the same time, they must systematically analyze and plan the market development and industry trends of the pharmaceutical sector, helping BUs allocate resources reasonably to achieve unified and rapid development in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Formulate the overall development plan for the division within the pharmaceutical industry
- Set development goals and plans for each BUs in the pharmaceutical industry, and be responsible for supervising and promoting the achievement of these goals
- Fully understand the application of each BU’s products in the pharmaceutical industry
- Under a unified industry development framework, work with managers of each BU to develop their respective plans and action schemes for the pharmaceutical industry
- Convene cross-BU industry communities within the division, establish the community framework, including working methods and content
- Regularly organize community meetings to follow up on the implementation of industry development plans and key actions
- Understand the progress of major company projects in the pharmaceutical industry and coordinate efficient resource use among BUs to improve project coverage and success rate
- Regularly update BU managers on the implementation of pharmaceutical industry development plans and jointly coordinate the follow-up of related plans
- Report regularly to the division manager on the implementation of industry development plans, and ensure the execution of related actions with the help of the division manager and BU managers
- Coordinate and communicate with the marketing department and other relevant departments to jointly promote the development of the pharmaceutical industry
- Conduct in-depth research and fully understand the current status, development trends, and key areas of the pharmaceutical market, helping BUs identify future focus areas (such as sectors, clients, regions, etc.)
- Analyze the market positioning and competitiveness of the company’s main products in the pharmaceutical industry
- Fully understand the pharmaceutical industry market, including customer distribution
- Analyze major competing brands in the pharmaceutical industry in depth, and propose suggestions for product and resource investment based on the company’s products
- Actively participate in relevant industry meetings and marketing activities to promote the company’s reputation in the pharmaceutical industry
- Maintain active and positive communication with the headquarters’ pharmaceutical industry manager and related BUs, promptly reporting China market trends and customer needs to headquarters
Qualifications & Experience
- Over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical equipment sales
- Independently planned and completed comprehensive market development strategies and plans
- Independently completed project sales work (over 5 million RMB)
- Proficient English skills
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning abilities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Background in science or engineering (pharmaceutical-related industry preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or above
