Job Description

Personal Assistant

 

SUMMARY: David Yurman is seeking a dedicated Traveling Personal Assistant. This person will provide both day-to-day administrative and personal support to the Co-CEO. This role requires extensive travel of at least 50% and hours that require flexibility, including non-traditional hours and weekends.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrange travel, hotels, transportation, and other logistics personal trips; prepare itineraries and coordinate reservations (hotels, cars, restaurant reservations, etc.)
  • Accompany the Co-founder on required trips and coordinate all aspects of travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and visas, ensuring efficiency, comfort, and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure preparation for meetings and that materials and notes are prepared
  • Act as a primary point of contact, managing emails, phone calls, and messages, and relaying important information in a timely manner.
  • Oversee response to requests for time while maintaining confidentiality and time sensitivity
  • Monitor and manage health insurance payments and reimbursements.
  • Weekly updates on social and museum events
  • Cataloguing and inventory management
  • Assistance with purchases
  • Regularly update contacts list, mailing list, and holiday gift mailing list
  • Arrange personal appointments, events and follow (guest lists, reservations, catering, etc.)
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during travel or in daily operations, finding efficient solutions and ensuring the founder's needs are met.
  • Assist with drivers schedules
  • Run errands such as picking up meals, reserving restaurants, purchasing tickets to shows, perform personal and household shopping as needed
  • Maintain a tidy and safe living environment

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of C-suite level support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • General knowledge of health insurance procedures and claims
  • Familiar with organizing private flight charters
  • Highly organized, a great multi-tasker and intense attention to detail.
  • Able to protect confidential information, problem solve and meet deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and detail
  • Sharp, polished and have a professional demeanor
  • Driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally

Estimate Salary Range: $140-$150k

Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
