We’re changing the world of payments, and we’re looking for an exceptional team to help us.

About the Role

As a Performance Marketing Manager at Payhawk, you’ll drive high-intent demand for our multi-product platform through paid acquisition and ABM activation. You’ll be part of the central Performance Marketing team while being embedded into one or more cross-functional GTM Pods — small, agile squads focused on growing a specific product area.

Within your Pod, you’ll work closely with Product Marketing, Content, ABM, Design, SEO, and Web to execute integrated campaigns with speed and clarity. You’ll remain functionally supported by the Performance Marketing Director, while owning paid performance outcomes for your product area.

This is a hands-on role with clear accountability for pipeline impact, efficiency, and continuous experimentation across Paid Search and Paid ABM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own paid acquisition performance for your assigned GTM Pods, with a focus on Paid Search and Paid ABM.
  • Plan, launch, and continuously optimise multinational paid campaigns aligned to product value propositions, buyer needs, Pod priorities, and business goals.
  • Shape targeting, messaging inputs, creative direction, and funnel experience to improve engagement, conversion, and pipeline contribution.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure ads, landing pages, and messaging are aligned and optimised for performance and conversion.
  • Monitor performance closely, diagnose trends, and implement optimisations quickly to improve efficiency and results.
  • Provide clear performance insights and recommendations to Pod leadership to inform campaign strategy and prioritisation.
  • Continuously test and iterate to improve campaign performance and drive innovation.
  • Use AI and automation to improve campaign velocity, testing, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing or paid media execution, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong experience owning Paid Search and LinkedIn Ads end-to-end; exposure to programmatic, Meta, or ABM platforms (6sense, demandbase) is a plus.
  • Proven accountability for budget management and ROI, including monthly spend at meaningful scale.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Hands-on mindset — comfortable writing ad copy, launching experiments, and optimising campaigns directly.
  • Experience supporting or executing ABM campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
  • Solid understanding of CRO fundamentals and how landing page UX impacts conversion.
  • Experience using AI tools to support campaign creation, research, analysis, or automation.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, Pod-based setup.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and able to work from the office.

Company Benefits

  • 30 days holiday paid leave
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Exchange policy to another Payhawk office (London, Berlin, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam)
  • Flexible working hours and opportunity to work from home
  • Regular team-wide events
  • Additional Medical care
  • Company office massages
