Reports to: People Operations Manager

Location: Home based, UK

Role Summary: 

The People Operations Coordinator provides operational support across the employee lifecycle for the People Operations team globally. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant support while partnering closely with regional stakeholders to ensure consistent global processes with flexibility for local requirements.

This individual will support all administrative aspects of the employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted partner to peers, colleagues, and people leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Support onboarding processes from offer to start date, including contracts, background checks, and documentation.

  • Coordinate offboarding processes including exit documentation, system updates, and final payroll inputs.

  • Process employee changes such as promotions, compensation changes, contract amendments, and extensions.

  • Prepare standard employee letters and documentation as required.

Payroll and Benefits Support

  • Support monthly payroll processes

  • Coordinate with Payroll, Rewards, and Benefits teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

  • Assist with benefits administration and employee queries

HR Systems and Data

  • Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and related People systems

  • Run basic reports and support data audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance

  • Assist with improvements to People Operations processes, templates, and system usage.

Global EOR (Employer of Record) and Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with PEO providers and external vendors for international employees

  • Support alignment between US and International People Ops processes while respecting local requirements.

Cross-Functional and HRBP Support

  • Work closely with HRBPs, Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, Talent Acquisition, and Project teams to support People Ops needs.

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to HRBPs, including processing employee changes, preparing documentation, and coordinating next steps.

  • Liaise with Finance and Payroll to ensure employee-related changes are reflected accurately and on time.

  • Support People team projects by tracking actions, uploading documentation, and assisting with delivery.

Employee and Team Support

  • Monitor and respond to the shared People Team inbox

  • Act as a point of contact for employee People Ops queries.

  • Support documentation of processes and creation of simple guides or SOPs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or a similar support role (minimum of 1-2 years' experience preferred)

  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle activities

  • Experience working with an HRIS (Workday preferred)

  • Experience in supporting employees across multiple regions and working with external vendors

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and standard reports

  • Ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams including HRBPs, Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT and Talent Acquisition

  • Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn new processes and regional requirements

  • Comfortable working in a global environment and collaborating across time zones
