The lead HR for a small site/functional area ensuring necessary HR services across a range of areas (e.g. recruitment, performance management, reward and benefits and employee relations) are undertaken to effectively support the business/function. Applies existing knowledge to signal, propose and implement solutions in a clearly defined context. Works in a relatively defined internal environment of medium complexity. Is involved in common tactical issues and processes in (local) HR/business.

As the People Advisory Partner, you will be responsible in providing second line HR advisory support to managers on employee relations and people management, while also owning the local execution of organisational change initiatives.

Your goal / purpose will be to ensure that enterprise and sector / practice group people priorities are embedded effectively, risks are managed, and managers are equipped to lead their teams through transition.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the local implementation of people change initiatives (e.g. organisational design changes, performance frameworks, engagement programmes). 

  • Partner with managers to ensure change plans are understood, cascaded, and embedded. 

  • Manage complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, capability). 

  • Provide structured advice to managers on policy interpretation and application. 

  • Escalate highrisk or precedentsetting cases to Regional/Country Advisory Lead. 

  • Ensure case handling and change delivery are consistent, compliant, and welldocumented.

  • Act as the bridge between enterprise frameworks and local execution, ensuring joinedup delivery with Business Partners, COEs, and People Operations. 

Requirements for the role:

  • Strong knowledge of local employment law and HR practices 

  • Experience in HR advisory or employee relations role 

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing organisational change at local level 

  • Case management experience and experience in a global, matrixed organisation

  • Clear communicator, able to simplify complexity and reinforce change messages
