Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Part Time Nurse Navigator on site at LCH for Pediatric Hospital at Home program. 2–12-hour shifts, includes weekend rotation and holidays.
Pay Range
$37.50 - $56.25
Essential Functions
- Manages the department's organization requirements for database management of patient information, hospital financial data, or other data to ensure data security and preservation.
- Maintains excellent understanding of complex State and Federal Government reimbursement regulations and their various payment methodologies.
- Manages data to identify outliers in operational practices that affect reimbursement and leading a team to evaluate or improve these areas.
- Ensures staff is well trained on the necessary methods and tools required to obtain, manipulate and analyze data.
- Analyzes financial and statistical data to determine trends in data and improvement.
- Verifies the extraction of data required for the various reporting mechanisms.
Physical RequirementsWork requires prolonged periods of sitting, lifting, moving reports and notebooks weighing up to 10 pounds. Must be able to move freely among departments located in various buildings on and off the main hospital campus and other facilities.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area required. Master's Degree preferred. CPA preferred. 5 to 8 years of Healthcare Reimbursement with emphasis in Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Access, Monarch, ACL and Excel.
