Pratt & Whitney's Integrated Business Planning (IBP) organization assesses the demand and output capacity of the entire P&W operations and supply chain network. Major functions of the IBP organization are Materials Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management and Materials Execution. The Product Delivery Center (PDC) Planning team within the Materials Planning organization is looking for an analytical, goal oriented individual to execute materials planning processes within the PDC Planning team. The successful candidate is customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream. The PDC Network Administrator is a key role within the Value Stream and IBP organization that maintains systems to ensure schedule accuracy, enable proper financial structure of our engines and modules and minimize excess inventory. They will leverage best practices and industry standards to support process health, as well as ensure data quality to prepare for future tools and ERP solutions.

What you will do:

  • Communicate and manage accurate and timely execution for networked engines and build allocations with appropriate assembly site
  • Execute schedule and arrangement changes on networked engines
  • Support Production order maintenance; inventory alignment and production order completion for shipped engines
  • Lead and support inventory investigations & reconciliations, schedule investigations and ensure integrations with appropriate functional departments stream to ensure accurate inventory and schedules for our shops and suppliers
  • Manage inventory buffers, optimization and overall reduction targets without causing PDC assembly floor delays
  • Execute material planning processes as well as inventory control including engineering changes incorporation, master data changes, planning parameters (safety stock, lotting, etc), inventory buffering and management, etc.
  • Lead & facilitate the clean up of Aged MRP for all PDC planning assembly sites with cross functions teams including supply planning, production & procurement
  • Support annual MMAS audits; ensure compliance with requirements such as:
  • Maintain assembly network structures to stay current with demonstrated lead times and financial WBS requirements.
  • Continuously support CORE process by driving standard work improvements, process improvements & managing policies, procedures and KPIs

Qualifications you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience in Operations, or Supply Chain; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Ability to work independently with the value stream.
  • APICS / ASCM certification.
  • Raytheon Six Sigma, ACE, or CORE advanced certification
  • Familiarity with SAP System transactions.
  • SQL and data analytics experience

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
