The Process Control Manager leads the team in developing and implementing process control solutions, focusing on autonomous systems to enhance capability and yield. This role sets the team vision, drives continuous improvement, and develops a collaborative, innovative environment. Responsibilities include balancing tactical and strategic projects, removing barriers to success, overseeing technical support and process development, ensuring compatibility between processes and product design, and leading efforts to improve cost effectiveness and product quality, while selecting and developing personnel for efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly conduct 1:1 meetings with each team member to discuss performance, roadblocks, and career aspirations. Build paths for career development. Provide knowledge, resources & training (tools, systems, human resources, etc.) to enable the group's success.
  • Establish and maintain effective collaborations with partners in Process and Equipment Development, IT, and the global network to support your team and enable solutions locally.
  • Monitor metrics, set line of sight goals, and drive team to meet business commitments and handle personnel issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Drive group improvements by consistently evaluating systems and solutions with a focus on finding opportunities for enhancement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or an equivalent Micron job standing of Engineer or higher is required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in semiconductor industry
  • 1+ years of experience as a lead or manager of a team
  • We require authority in Fault Detection and Classification and preferably Internet of Things, sought out by others for training and guidance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate partnership and collaboration through flexibility, desire to assist others, and displaying a positive demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to concisely present highly technical data
  • Demonstrate problem solving, analytical skills, and a shown ability to drive complex projects to completion
