The Manager of Analytics is responsible for managing analytics projects, conducting data analysis, and translating data into actionable insights. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to support their data needs and ensure the organization makes data-driven decisions.Portfolio Monitoring and Campaign Analytics: Support Health Sales Analytics monitoring and campaign tracking.
Analytics Project: Lead analytics projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables meet business needs
Dashboard: Develop and automate dashboards to communicate key performance metrics to stakeholders
Data Analytics: Utilize analytical techniques to analyze datasets and generate insights related to the health portfolio, such as cost drivers and customer behavior relating to health plans. Assist in implementing data models and ensuring data quality.
Risk Monitoring: Monitor and analyze risks associated with health insurance products or healthcare services, including underwriting and medical cost risks. Report findings and suggest mitigation strategies.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, finance, and product development, to support project needs and provide actionable insights. Communicate key data points to stakeholders to support decision-making.
Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and actuarial guidelines. Keep informed on regulatory changes and ensure reporting adheres to standards.
Operational Planning: Contribute to the operational planning and execution of strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights and supporting the alignment of analytics with business goals.
Actuarial Support: Assist with actuarial analysis and modeling to assess risks, estimate reserves, and contribute to pricing strategies for health takaful products. Work closely with actuarial teams to implement models.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Data Science, Actuarial, Engineering, Statistics or similar field
3-5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong proficiency in Machine Learning tools (Pythons, R, SQL, PowerBI)
Sound technical knowledge in Machine Learning techniques such as Linear regression. GLM, GBM, clustering
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with stakeholders
