A Day in Your Life at MKS:
Managing all payroll processes, including but not limited to one-time payments, garnishments, tax forms, direct deposit, bonuses, deductions, and year-end activities
Configuring and maintaining time and absence systems
Optimizing payroll processing, participating in system upgrades, and leading payroll-related projects
Leading and managing day-to-day payroll team activities while ensuring service excellence and compliance with corporate policies and SOX controls
Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members through performance management, goal setting, and career development
Serving as a payroll subject matter expert and collaborating with cross-functional partners on payroll-related matters
Skills You Bring:
Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, tax laws, and multi-state payroll processing
Proficiency with payroll systems and a strong understanding of integrations and automated payroll accounting processes; Workday experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manage payroll data effectively
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of payroll experience preferred, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
This position is Hybrid and candidates must live within commutable distance to our corporate headquarters in Andover, MA.
Compensation and Benefits:
