Join RTX Enterprise Services as a Payroll Manager supporting US Payroll operations from our Bangalore, India hub. This critical role ensures accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery for thousands of US-based employees and drives operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement across the payroll function.
Work Model & Location
This role is based in Bangalore, India. Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week. Supports US Payroll operations and requires flexibility to align with US working hours as needed.
What You Will Do
· Delivery and leadership of US payroll process delivery for RTX entities.
· Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to payroll team members.
· Ensure compliance with US payroll laws and RTX internal control requirements.
· Coordinate issue resolution with HR, Finance and external payroll vendors.
· Review payroll processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy and security.
· Identify automation opportunities and support process transformation projects.
· Support employee inquiries and deliver excellent payroll service.
· Create and maintain payroll procedures, compliance documentation and process guides.
· Lead internal and external payroll audits.
· Drive capability building, workload distribution and succession planning.
· Promote data privacy, confidentiality and strong control environments.
· Your scope includes US payroll hub operations for RTX entities.
· Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations, company policies and procedures.
· Promote a strong control environment and adherence to data privacy and confidentiality standards.
What You Will Learn
· Experience supporting large-scale US payroll from a global delivery hub.
· Exposure to ADP payroll platforms, Workday, SAP and automation initiatives.
· Leadership experience in a high-impact shared services environment.
Qualifications You Must Have
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
· 10+ years of payroll experience including US payroll.
· 5+ years of people leadership experience in payroll operations.
· Strong knowledge of US payroll laws, controls and statutory requirements.
· Proficiency with ADP payroll platforms, Workday, SAP and Microsoft Office.
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
· Ability to work with a sense of urgency when required and uphold deadlines
· Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information relating to payroll and HR activities
· Comprehensive and working knowledge of payroll systems
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and regions.
· Ability to analyze and develop efficient processes and procedures.
· Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills & ability to prioritize responsibilities.
