Payroll & Labour Specialist

As a payroll and labour specialist you will have a vital role in ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining strict compliance with labour law, tax and and social security regulations. You will handle on- and offboarding and be the main point of contact for employees on payroll and social security issues.

Your main payroll-related tasks:

  • Recording necessary data in the WORKDAY and NEXON systems
  • Managing working time and attendance records
  • Maintaining work schedules for employees
  • End-to-end payroll operations: calculating monthly salaries and allowances in NEXON (including sick leave payments and cafeteria)
  • Keeping contact with social security office
  • Compiling monthly salary and social security reports by deadline and sending them to the authorities
  • Compiling labour and statistical reports
  • Providing data to the national tax office (registration and declaration of employees)
  • Liaising with the accounting team in the matter of data provision required for the payment of the necessary contribution obligations
  • Preparing lists from the NEXON system for internal and external data provision, checking their accuracy
  • Performing monthly and annual closing tasks
  • Active participation in the control of monthly payments
  • Maintaining contact with NEXON Kft., keeping the program up-to-date
  • Issuing payslips and salary certificates, keeping contact with employees in payroll and social security topics

Your main labour-related tasks:

  • Keeping employee data records up-to-date in WORKDAY and NEXON systems
  • Handling on- and offboarding: recording data, preparing and handing over employment contracts, job descriptions and other documents necessary for establishing an employment relationship, manage terminations of employment
  • Recording and analyzing reasons for leaving
  • Preparing employment contract modifications, recording changes in HR systems
  • Participation in disciplinary case management
  • Preparing regular and ad hoc reports

Our expectations:

  • Payroll and social security administrator qualification is a must
  • At least 3 years of experience in NEXON (Bér and NEXON4)
  • Active knowledge of latest payroll and social security legislation and their proper application
  • Up-to-date knowledge of labor law, ability to apply the Labor Code in practice
  • Strong user-level knowledge of MS Office (especially excel), strong numerical abilities
