Job Description:

Payroll Assistant Accountant ( UAE National )

Abu Dhabi - UAE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated graduate to join our finance team as a Payroll Assistant Accountant. The candidate will support payroll processing and assist with basic accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing monthly payroll for employees
• Maintain and update employee payroll records
• Calculate salaries, overtime, unpaid leave and deductions etc.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
• Handle employee payroll-related queries
• Support month-end closing activities
• Assist with reconciliations and financial reports
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/BBA)
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Good numerical and analytical ability
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of payroll systems/software is a plus
   

Preferred Skills:

• Time Management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with payroll software
• Understanding of GCC labor law and WPS system
• Good communication skills
