We are looking for a super talented Payroll Accountant to join our finance team in our fast-growing company. In this role you will manage all aspects of the payroll of our India entity and ensure payroll full accuracy and compliance.
As an Payroll Accountant JFrog you will...
- Have full sole end to end ownership of the payroll process including planning, managing monthly payroll timelines with all stakeholders, gathering all required information, processing and analyzing monthly payroll and ensure all is performed in accordance to group and local timeline
- Be responsible for the accuracy of all salary data end to end from initial inputs till the net pay, tax compliance, accounting entries posting and general ledger monthly reconciliations including keeping proper accurate documentation
- Be responsible for gathering analyzing and implementing of any new law, regulation or other statutory requirements related to payroll and employees compensation
- Act as main focal point for employees as well as to management for all payroll related aspects.
- Have accountability for payroll inputs processing and deliveries for new hires and terminated employees.
- Have full responsibility for year-end process of Income Tax proof
- Be responsible for maintaining and provide documentation and explanation related to payroll accounting, for internal and external audits.
- Monitor payroll controls and suggest improvements to minimize risk and strengthen compliance.
- Support actuarial valuation processes for employee benefits (e.g., leave encashment, gratuity, pension obligations) by preparing and validating required data inputs.
To be an Payroll Accountant in JFrog you need...
- B-Com/M-Com/MBA-Finance with 5+ years of experience in payroll - must
- Knowledge of GreytHR and NetSuite software is an advantage
- Fluent in English and excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
- Both a team player and ability to work independently
- Experience in managing the specialized financial reporting and tax compliance associated with equity compensation programs would be added advantage
NOTE: The job location is Bangalore (Bellandur) and we follow a hybrid model, mandatory 3 days/week work from office.
