About the role
Payments & Integrity Manager
Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in credit management and operational excellence? Join our Credit & Affordability team and play a pivotal role in managing cash flow, optimizing processes, and mitigating risk to support business growth and sustainability.
Reporting to the Head of Credit & Affordability, you’ll lead the end-to-end accounts receivable function, drive fraud prevention strategies, and ensure financial accuracy across the business. This role is key to delivering operational excellence and improving customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate payment allocation and reconciliation.
Develop and execute credit strategy, partnering with stakeholders to deliver improvements.
Monitor debtor aging, identify risks, and implement recovery strategies.
Detect and manage fraud through robust controls and collaboration with audit, compliance, and legal teams.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce DSO and strengthen internal controls.
Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, including unclaimed monies processes.
Build and maintain a high-performing team through leadership, coaching, and recruitment.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience within similar or like for like role, with management experience in credit or accounts receivable.
Strong strategic thinking and operational expertise.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver outcomes.
Experience in fraud prevention, compliance, and risk management.
Background in energy or related industries preferred.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and Lean/Six Sigma process improvement.
