About the role

Payments & Integrity Manager

Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in credit management and operational excellence? Join our Credit & Affordability team and play a pivotal role in managing cash flow, optimizing processes, and mitigating risk to support business growth and sustainability.


Reporting to the Head of Credit & Affordability, you’ll lead the end-to-end accounts receivable function, drive fraud prevention strategies, and ensure financial accuracy across the business. This role is key to delivering operational excellence and improving customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate payment allocation and reconciliation.

  • Develop and execute credit strategy, partnering with stakeholders to deliver improvements.

  • Monitor debtor aging, identify risks, and implement recovery strategies.

  • Detect and manage fraud through robust controls and collaboration with audit, compliance, and legal teams.

  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce DSO and strengthen internal controls.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, including unclaimed monies processes.

  • Build and maintain a high-performing team through leadership, coaching, and recruitment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience within similar or like for like role, with management experience in credit or accounts receivable.

  • Strong strategic thinking and operational expertise.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver outcomes.

  • Experience in fraud prevention, compliance, and risk management.

  • Background in energy or related industries preferred.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and Lean/Six Sigma process improvement.
