Summary:

Functions as a resource for the development, creation, coordination, organization, implementation and evaluation of clinical patient education materials and projects for Roswell Park and its satellites, affiliates, and community partners. Assists with integration of patient education materials across multiple platforms and localities in support of Roswell Park's mission and values. Maintains the Patient Education database, and its reports. Responsible for developing, organizing and performing educational sessions for patients across the Roswell Park Care Network. Salary range for this position is $59,537 - $75,091 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation based on experience in healthcare programming. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in patient/community education and/or oncology care; or
2. Associates Degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in patient/community education and/or oncology care.

NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have:

1. Bachelor's Degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in patient/community education and/or oncology care;

2. Associates Degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in patient/community education and/or oncology care.
