About the Role

The Cook I prepares high-quality menu items while maintaining consistency, presentation, and food safety standards. This role is responsible for executing recipes, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring an efficient and organized work environment in a fast-paced culinary setting.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare menu items with consistency and quality, following standard recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines

  • Complete mise en place and set up station for service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  • Prepare food items in advance based on forecasted needs, minimizing waste and overproduction

  • Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment safely and properly

  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of all food items in compliance with food safety standards

  • Monitor inventory levels, communicate shortages, and support cost control and waste reduction efforts

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health and safety standards

  • Work collaboratively and professionally with team members and leadership

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 4 years of culinary or related experience, with strong foundational cooking knowledge

  • Culinary education or equivalent experience preferred

  • Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes with consistency and attention to detail

  • Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques

  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards

Schedule & Hours

  • This is a full‑time role.

  • As our hotel operates 24/7, 365 days a year, candidates must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
