The Parts Material Planner leads demand and supply planning for our parts distribution network, ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional ownership experience by maintaining optimal inventory levels across our warehouses to support service, retail, and installation channels.

Our Service organization depends on immediate parts availability to complete appliance repairs efficiently, while our Sales team relies on strong in-stock performance to drive revenue and margin. This position directly influences customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end demand and supply planning for assigned parts categories across multiple warehouse locations

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical trends, service forecasts, seasonality, and business inputs

  • Monitor inventory health, including service levels, fill rates, excess and obsolete inventory, and inventory turns

  • Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service, working capital, and cost objectives

  • Partner cross-functionally with Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Distribution teams to align on demand signals and supply strategies

  • Manage replenishment planning and collaborate with suppliers to mitigate shortages and lead-time variability

  • Proactively identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent service disruptions

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and inventory performance

  • Leverage ERP/MRP systems and planning tools to analyze data and inform decision-making

  • Prepare and present inventory and service-level performance metrics to leadership

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, materials planning, inventory management, or related supply chain function

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into action

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)

  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in parts planning, aftermarket service supply chain, or multi-warehouse distribution environments

  • APICS/CPIM certification or other supply chain certification

  • Experience with forecasting tools or advanced planning systems

  • Demonstrated success improving service levels while reducing inventory investment

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

  • Experience supporting field service or retail operations
