Position Overview:
Finning Canada is seeking a Parts Journeyperson - Countersales to support our client located at Fort McKay. This role provides support to major overhauls and new equipment preparation.
This position supports our client located at Fort McKay on a 14 x 14 continuous day shift rotation
• $56.97 - $60.29 / hour
• $300 / year Boot Allowance

Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
- Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance and repair, for both the shop and field.
- Ensure accurate required by dates are entered into the software system.
- Consistency in communicating estimated delivery dates to the service operations team.
- Attend morning safety meetings and complete daily EJHA.
- Communicate shipping options and freight estimates to the Service Operations team.
- Follow up on requests from the service team and remain accountable until the transaction is complete.
- General housekeeping – A place for everything and everything in its place.
- Attend all Teams meetings, micro learnings, and trainings requested by the Regional Parts Manager.
- Delivery of parts to various locations as determined by the service supervisors and CSM.
- Participate in parts related special projects and assignments
- Participate in call quality and performance initiatives as required
Other functions may include but are not limited to:
- NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
- Procurement of non-CAT parts
- Managing backordered parts
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
- A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
- Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
- Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
- Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining, heavy construction and technology products.

- This position is based at Fort McKay on a 14x14 continuous shift rotation
- WHMIS, TDG, and First Aid Certification will be required upon hire
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
