Key Responsibilities:
The Partner Capacity Building Coordinator will lead partnering processes and elements of capacity development among the partners assigned to the project. Particularly, the position holder will oversee and monitor the implementation of the project by the partners. Also, he/she is responsible to ensure the targets are achieved in a timely manner with quantity and quality. The Partner Capacity Building Coordinator will also coordinate the due diligence and organizational capacity assessment processes as part of partners' screening and ongoing capacity-building events to equip the partners under the project.
Key Responsibility
- Capacity building of the partners in order to implement the activities clearly mentioned in the Detailed implementation plan
- Review local partnership agreements signed with partners to ensure full adherence to WV standards and procedures.
- Coordinate the implementation of project activities in alignment with the established partnership agreement.
- Closely work with the Technical specialist – Skill Building to ensure the project is implemented according to the set targets and objectives.
- Work with partners to Identify the capacity need among the partners and also develop partner-specific capacity improvement plans and also support for the implementation processes.
- Facilitate routine partnership health checks to strengthen and review partner portfolios, based on Partnership Performance and Health Check findings.
- Coordinate the development and documentation of success stories and lessons learned related to partnering.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 - 4 years of experience in any international organization preferably in the INGO context as a Partnership Manager /Partner Capacity Building Specialist /Partnership Coordinator/ similar position.
